The most outrageously fun concert I've been to this year was exactly the concert featured here. Ultra Mega Technobandið Stefán, which translates roughly as The Ultra Mega Technoband Stefan, played at Organ in Reykjavik on October 4th. I'd never seen this band live before, and expected some dull show with nerds looking at their keyboards and twisting knobs on samplers. Instead there was this violent burst of energy and I wisely hid behind a pillar, and shot the video from a safe distance while the band went mad on stage and off it. The last two songs were played without bass since the instrument promply went and broke down. The bass player instead joined the crowd in a frenzy of mosh-pitting. Jolly good fun!
